Ed Sheeran brings his LOOP Tour to Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara this Saturday, July 25 — returning to the venue where he set a concert attendance record in 2023, per the SF Chronicle. Show time is 5:30 p.m.; gates open at 4 p.m. Levi's Stadium, 4900 Marie P. DeBartolo Way, Santa Clara.

The tour is built around Sheeran's signature live-looping setup: he builds every song in real time using guitars, vocals, and percussion, no band behind him, touring behind Play, his eighth studio album. Three openers precede him — Aaron Rowe, Sigrid, and Myles Smith. Running order hasn't been published; at his San Diego stop earlier this week Sheeran took the stage shortly after 8 p.m., per the SF Chronicle, so a similar window is plausible here, but not guaranteed.

Getting there

The VTA Orange Line light rail runs dedicated event service to Gate A on the Tasman Drive side of the stadium. Connect via Caltrain at Mountain View Station or BART at Milpitas Station. Adult single-ride fare is $2.50; an 8-hour pass is $5. If you're coming by Caltrain, a joint Caltrain + VTA Day Pass is available for an extra $7.50 over your regular Caltrain fare — with one catch: that combined pass cannot be purchased at Mountain View Station, so buy the two fares separately there. Return rail service runs up to one hour after the show ends.

Rideshare drop-off is south of Great America Parkway. Post-show pickup is Red Lot 7 — bank that now, not while you're searching your phone in a 60,000-person crowd.

Parking lots open at 2:30 p.m. and run $60–$90 depending on lot and purchase timing, credit card only, first-come first-served day-of. No tailgating.

What to bring (and what not to)

Clear-bag policy is in effect: one transparent bag no larger than 12" × 6" × 12", plus one non-transparent clutch no larger than 4.5" × 6.5". No bag check is offered — show up with the wrong bag and you're returning it to your car or ditching it at the gate. The items people actually forget to leave home: selfie sticks, camera lenses longer than 3 inches, and external battery packs larger than a cellphone. All three are prohibited.

Tickets are mobile-only via Ticketmaster or the 49ers app. Walk-up tickets may be available at the Visa Box Office day-of, but supply isn't guaranteed. All guests aged 2 and older require a ticket.

If you've got two hours

Take the VTA from Milpitas BART and arrive by 4:30. Get a drink before concession lines stack up, then catch Aaron Rowe's set while the stadium is still half-empty. Sheeran's looping show works well from the mid-level sections — you don't need the floor to feel the build.
