If you missed the "Get it?!" Gameshow at Cobb's on July 29, don't sweat it — the club's free comedy series keeps going all month, and the gameshow itself comes back. Cobb's Comedy Club (915 Columbus Ave, North Beach) runs four Secret Guest List nights in August, and every one is free if you get on the list first.

The fine print is where people get tripped up, so read this part. You must RSVP ahead (no later than one hour before showtime), it's 18+ with valid photo ID, and there's a two-drink minimum — non-alcoholic drinks count. Admission is first-come, first-served even with a reservation, so the guidance is to arrive at least 30 minutes early for guaranteed entry.
