The room registered with the City as Iggys Place LLC on July 19, 2023, according to San Francisco business records.

The concept takes over a space that was home to Cassava Bakery & Cafe — registered under Toliao Ioroi Holdings LLC from August 2015 through November 2024. The building has been permitted for food-service use since at least 2013, when the City approved a change of use from a retail coffee shop to a small fast-service restaurant.

Iggy's Place serves sandwiches, salads, soups, and all-day breakfast; its website describes it as "a vibrant daytime destination." The founders' prior operation, Borsch Mobile, was registered under Mangal, LLC beginning December 16, 2016, according to City records — a near-decade of operating history in San Francisco before the brick-and-mortar move. Individual ownership names behind Iggys Place LLC are not publicly disclosed in available records.

The space had infrastructure already in place: a 2022 property listing documented a Type 41 beer-and-wine license, a ventless hood, and an outdoor parklet at the address. Whether the current operator holds an active Type 41 is not confirmed in public records.
