Cinderella Bakery's long-awaited Mission outpost, a Thai restaurant from a Bangkok Michelin-starred chef, a Turkish cafe in Saluhall, and a Mission cafe-bar are all opening in July 2026.
Four San Francisco restaurants and bars are set to open this July, bringing a Russian bakery expansion, a world-class Thai chef's Bay Area debut, Turkish cafe concepts, and a Mission cafe-bar to the city's dining scene.
Cinderella Bakery & Cafe will open its Mission District location at 2937 24th St. in late July, seven years after the Richmond District favorite first announced its expansion. Registered to Ry's Bakery LLC, the outpost will serve the bakery's signature rye bread, piroshki, and Russian honey cakes until 7 p.m. daily. The space, formerly La Victoria Bakery, features a matryoshka doll mural by Precita Eyes.
Saam, the first San Francisco restaurant from Michelin-starred Bangkok chef Thitid "Ton" Tassanakajohn, opens late July at 415 Brannan St. The contemporary Thai concept, registered to 333 Inc, will occupy the former Sun and Moon space near Oracle Park with its "three flavors, one soul" approach.
Oklava Cafe launches July 7 at 945 Market St. in Mid-Market's Saluhall food hall. The Turkish cafe from Turquaz owners Aziz Aslan and Elif Uzun, registered to Oklava Cafe Inc, will serve coffee, pastries, and mezze in a ground-floor space.
Stray Dog opens July 3 at 2545 24th St. in the Mission. The cafe-bar from Lost Cat veterans, registered to Ok Bay LLC, will offer Ritual Coffee by day and pan-Asian cocktails by night in the former Junior cocktail bar space.
