Caltrain wants the ride to Karol G to be part of the show. The agency says it will run a Reggaeton theme train out of San Francisco at 4:55 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, timed to land fans at Levi's Stadium (4900 Marie P. DeBartolo Way, Santa Clara) ahead of the 7 p.m. start of her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour. Caltrain pitched the ride itself as the warm-up in a social post promoting the train, first reported by Hoodline.

Here's the catch a lot of people are about to learn the hard way: Levi's Stadium has no Caltrain station. The theme train gets you as far as Mountain View, and there you transfer to VTA's Orange Line light rail, which runs to Great America Station at the stadium gates. VTA's own event page confirms Mountain View is the Caltrain-to-light-rail handoff — not Great America, not the stadium itself. Plan on that leg; it's the difference between strolling in and sprinting.

The fares, concretely. Caltrain from San Francisco to Mountain View runs about $8–$10 one way. A single adult VTA light-rail ride is $2.50 — but tap a Clipper card and one VTA fare buys you two hours of transfers, enough to cover the hop to the stadium. VTA also sells a Joint Caltrain + VTA Day Pass if you'd rather carry one fare for the round trip. Load Clipper into your phone's wallet before you leave; each rider needs their own card, and the vending machines at Mountain View get ugly at rush.

Don't drive to the light rail, either. Great America Station has only 189 parking spaces and no elevators or escalators — it is not the park-and-ride shortcut it looks like on a map.

VTA runs special event service and ramps up Orange Line trains starting roughly two hours before showtime; the detailed timetable usually posts about three days out, so check vta.org/go/event-service/levis that week. For the trip home, return trains run up to an hour after the show — head to the queue on the Gate A side, facing Tasman Drive — and Caltrain reverts to its regular weeknight schedule, so know your last northbound departure before the encore.

If you've only got the one move: catch the 4:55 theme train, tap Clipper, transfer at Mountain View, and let the party start on the platform instead of a parking lot.
