Monthly comedy-plus-gallery night at Birdhouse Gallery, 2548 Judah Street, runs Thursday June 25 from 8–9:30 p.m. Headliner Jalisa Robinson leads a seven-person bill; BYOB welcome; admission price unconfirmed — check Eventbrite.

The Birdhouse Comedy Night runs monthly at Birdhouse Gallery in the Outer Sunset, and this Thursday, June 25, it goes from 8 to 9:30 p.m. at 2548 Judah Street. The format is exactly what it sounds like: a working art gallery turned comedy room for 90 minutes, then back to normal.

Headlining is Jalisa Robinson, with host Charlie Norton and a lineup that includes Dan Aguinaga, Nick Holke, Melissa Christine, Adrian Ruvalcaba, and Yi Ren, plus special guest Keanu Carmona. Seven names on a 90-minute bill means the sets move — nobody's padding.

The gallery is currently showing work by Celine (@celine_ap0) through June 27, so Thursday is also one of your last two chances to see it. The combination makes the room feel like something more than a bar back-room show — there's actual art on the walls, and the lighting actually suits looking at it.

Drinks are available inside for suggested donation; BYOB is welcome. Admission price was not confirmed as of Wednesday — check the Eventbrite link before you go to see if tickets are required.

Getting there: The N-Judah stops right on Judah Street, about a block from the door at 25th Avenue — straightforward from anywhere along the line. Driving into the Outer Sunset on a Thursday night means hunting a residential street for a spot; the train is the better call.

If you have two hours: get there at 8 sharp, walk the gallery wall while the room fills, then stay for the full set. It closes at 9:30, which leaves the rest of your Thursday intact.
