Broadway SF is bringing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 in Concert to Davies Symphony Hall, 201 Van Ness Ave., for two matinees: Saturday, Aug. 8 and Sunday, Aug. 9, both at 1 p.m. A full live orchestra plays Alexandre Desplat's Grammy-nominated score while the complete film runs on a 40-foot HD screen. One thing to get straight: this is a Broadway SF / ATG presentation — part of the touring CineConcerts–Warner Bros. film series that hires an orchestra city by city.
