The Yerba Buena Gardens Festival is hosting a free, family-friendly outdoor watch party for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final on Sunday, July 19 — big screen on the Great Lawn, live music, food vendors, and no ticket required.

The Yerba Buena Gardens Festival is setting up a big screen on the Great Lawn for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final this Sunday, July 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 773 Mission Street (between 3rd and 4th, SoMa). The event is free. RSVP at ybgfestival.org is available but not required.

The Final kicks off at 1 p.m. Pacific (4 p.m. Eastern at MetLife Stadium, NJ), so the 11 a.m. opening gives you time to find your patch of grass before the anthems. The festival is surrounding the match with programming: KALW DJ Marcus Rosario provides pre-match and halftime music, and Bay Area samba percussion group Bateria Batuki performs live. For food, the organizers point you to the adjacent Metreon food court; East Brother Rec Room is pouring drinks on the lawn. The festival explicitly bills it as "family-friendly as always" — blankets on the lawn, all ages, no wristband.

Getting there with a stroller or small kids: Powell Street and Montgomery Street BART stations are each roughly two blocks away with elevator access. Both are the easier call over Sunday SoMa parking. The Great Lawn is flat, open, and shade builds on the north end as the morning wears on.

The move: Arrive by 10:30 a.m., grab food from the Metreon before the match crowd hits the queue, and take the north end of the lawn. You'll be settled with snacks by kickoff.
