With USMNT's first home-soil World Cup knockout match since 1994 set for Tuesday at Levi's, two days of organized pre-match events are already lined up in San Jose and Santa Clara — for ticket holders and non-ticket holders alike.

USMNT vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina is Tuesday, July 1, kickoff 5 p.m. PT at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara — the first U.S. home-soil World Cup knockout match in 32 years. The American Outlaws section is sold out. If you don't have a ticket, you've had two weeks to make peace with it. What you might not have sorted out: the two days leading up to it.

Monday, June 30: Night Before

The American Outlaws San José chapter is running its Night Before party at Jack's, 167 E. Taylor St., San Jose (21+), Monday from 5–10 p.m. PT. Two food trucks will be on site — Tacos Molina and Shrimp'n Ain't Eazy. A kids zone runs next door for families, details at theamericanoutlaws.com/events/474. If you want karaoke with your pregame energy, 7 Bamboo Lounge at 162 Jackson St., San Jose (also 21+) opens 5:30 p.m.

On the same night: U.S. Soccer is hosting a free public fan event at Clara's Junction in Santa Clara from 8–10 p.m. PT, featuring music and appearances by U.S. Soccer alumni. No ticket required, no RSVP mentioned — details via bayareahostcommittee.com.

In San Francisco, AO SF and AO Oakland are jointly at Underdogs Cantina, 128 King St. (all ages), 5–10 p.m., in partnership with Pride House SF.

Tuesday, July 1: Match Day

If you have a ticket, the American Outlaws tailgate starts 3 p.m. PT at the stadium lot at 4855 Patrick Henry Dr., Santa Clara. Drum circle and chant prep until 3:30 p.m., then the march. Food package runs $15 (Chipotle burritos, hot dogs). BYOB; some beverages available. RSVP at the AO link.

No ticket: the San Pedro Square Soccer Celebration at 87 N. San Pedro St., San Jose is the Official U.S. Soccer watch party — free with RSVP at sjearthquakes.com/soccercelebration/. The venue has hosted more than 350,000 fans since June 11 and is projecting 25,000 for Tuesday's USA match. A fourth 450-sq-ft screen now extends north to St. James Street. Go early — San Pedro Square has hit capacity before halftime on big Mexico nights, and this one is expected to be bigger.

The call: Monday night, Jack's is the move — it's where the people actually going to the game will be, with food on site and no cover. For Tuesday without a ticket, RSVP at San Pedro Square now. The fourth screen is in, but the plaza fills fast.
