The Stanford Blood Center bloodmobile parks at Fairfax Library on Monday, July 13, from 2–6 p.m. Appointments recommended; registered donors get a tie-dye tee and, per the library's listing, a Warriors hoodie.

Monday, July 13, 2:00–6:00 p.m. The Stanford Blood Center bloodmobile will be parked in the lower lot at Fairfax Library, 2097 Sir Francis Drake Blvd., Fairfax. Appointments are recommended — book at sbcdonor.org or call 888-723-7831; a direct sign-up link is also on the Marin County Free Library's event page. For logistics, contact drive coordinator Phillip Martin at pmartin1@stanford.edu.

Registered donors get Stanford Blood Center's "Grateful for Life" limited-edition tie-dye t-shirt — the 22nd year of the July giveaway, available through July 31 at any SBC center or mobile drive, per SBC's promotions page. The Marin County Free Library event listing also notes a Golden State Warriors hoodie for registered donors; that item doesn't appear on SBC's main promotions page, so confirm at the drive.

Before you go: hydrate well, eat an iron-rich meal, and avoid alcohol and fatty foods for 24 hours beforehand (aspirin too, if you're donating platelets, for 48 hours). Bring your SBC donor ID; first-timers need a valid state-issued photo ID. Adults only.

Finding it: The bloodmobile is in the lower parking lot below the main entrance — not the street-level drop-off on Sir Francis Drake. Give yourself a few extra minutes to locate the right lot.
