The question is which room you want to be in. Kezar Pub (670 Cole St, Inner Sunset — N-Judah to Carl & Cole) is a reliable call: neighborhood crowd, no chaos, order the buffalo wings. Steins in the Richmond (333 Clement St) runs low-key and divey if you want to watch without a lot of noise around the noise. For North Beach, Boardroom or North Star give you the neighborhood-bar feel without the tourist shuffle. If you want maximum screen real estate and don't care about intimacy, Golden Gate Tap Room (SOMA, near Civic Center BART) is the answer — wall-to-wall TVs, bar games, full food menu, and room to actually pace if it goes to overtime.

Practical notes: arrive 20–30 minutes before tip, especially at smaller spots. Kezar fills fast for playoff games. Street parking in the Sunset is easier than it looks on a Sunday; Inner Sunset spots on Irving turn over regularly. No cover at any of these.

If you've got two hours and one shot: Kezar, a stool at the bar, and the wings.
