The drag club Oasis — dark for seven months — reopens this weekend, and while Friday's Grand Reveal is already sold out, Saturday's "PRINCESS: Homecoming w/ Julie J." still has tickets. Two shows, same night: early show doors 6:00 p.m., showtime 7:00 p.m.; late show doors 9:30 p.m., showtime approximately 11:15 p.m. (runs to 2:00 a.m.). Both at 298 11th St, San Francisco. Tickets $23.53–$159.83 via Eventbrite, no refunds. 21+, ID required.

The venue's return was made possible in part by a multimillion-dollar donation from Silicon Valley philanthropists Mark and Mary Stevens, which funded a full renovation. "We get to not only survive, but build something that I hope becomes a legacy," artistic director D'Arcy Drollinger told KQED. Producer Tito Soto, who organizes the PRINCESS series, was more direct: "The whole city was mourning its closure, and we get a second chance at this."

Saturday's show brings New York drag performer Julie J. as headliner for both sets, with local collective Clutch the Pearls and performers Mahlae Balenciaga, Niya Politano, and AnnI Phantom in support. Mojo Carter emcees; Drollinger co-hosts the early show. The "Homecoming" framing is literal — PRINCESS also went on hiatus when Oasis closed, and this is its return to the stage it was built for.

From Civic Center BART it's about a 10-minute walk. Muni's 12-Folsom stops close. Street parking in this stretch on a weekend night is a grind — the 5th & Mission Garage a few blocks north is the better bet.

If you only have two hours: take the early show. You're out by 9:30, Drollinger is on stage for it, and you skip the 2:00 a.m. commitment. The late show is the full ride — price accordingly.
