Twin Peaks is an odd choice, logistically and cosmically. The winding roads up there aren't built for casual cruising, which suggests whoever owns this thing made a deliberate trip. The neighborhood's perpetual mist does lend a certain Scooby-Doo energy — you half expect a haunted lighthouse.

This isn't an event, so there's nothing to buy a ticket to. But if you're already planning a Twin Peaks walk — the summit trailhead off Christmas Tree Point Road has 360-degree views on a clear day and is free, all ages, reachable by the 37 Muni bus from Castro Station — keep your eyes open on the residential streets below.
